About
The Jazi anchorage is on the east side of the island of Molat, just below the town of Molat. The anchorage is well protected from the south winds and poorly from the north. The bottom is partly rocky and partly sandy. In the sandy part, the anchor holds well. The shallower part of the bay is fenced and intended for swimers. It is possible to anchor in the northern part where the depths are between 5 and 8 m. There are two piers in the bay. The depth next to them is only half a meter. Docking is possible only with tender or a vessel with a draft of less than 0.5 m. In summer, there is a small inn and bar in the bay. In the immediate vicinity of the bay are the remains of a concentration camp. The nearest shop is in the town of Molat just below the highest part of the town.
