About
The bay and anchorage of Slatina is on the southwest side of the island of Korčula. The bay is very well protected from all winds except the south. The bottom in the bay is sandy and holds the anchor well. We can anchor at depths from 1 m in the northern part to 6 m in the southern part. In the northern part, there are also two smaller piers, where we can land with a tender. Many chains and ropes are laid on the ground, with which the vessels of the locals are tied. Anchoring in the northernmost part of the bay is not recommended. There is a beautiful sandy beach in the bay. The sea is an incredible turquoise colour. The nearest inn is about 1.5 km away above the bay. The nearest gas station and shop are in Vela Luka, which is 7 nmi away.
