Martinščica

Anchorage Martinscica is on south west side of island Cres. Bay is very well protected against all winds except from the south side in north east part it offer a protection against south wind as well. Seabed is sandy and the anchor holds well. Water depths in west part of the bay are between 0,5 m in the north to 4 m in the south part. In eastern part water depths are between 1,5 in the north eastern part to 5 m in south part. Bay is weary peaceful and is suitable for an overnight stay.

CAUSSINES AT NAVIGATION

In the middle of the bay there are shallow waters. South tip is marked with a yellow special mark. Navigating is possible west or east of the mark, but not north of the mark. If you don't know the bay it is not recommended to sail in during the night or in bad weather.
