Prapatna

Prapatna Bay is on north side of island Hvar, just 3 nmi east from towns Jelsa and Vrboska. Bay is well protected against all winds except from the north. Even strong maestral (NW wind) causes just smaller waves and anchoring is possible also in stronger wind. Seabed is sandy and the anchor holds well. Water depths are between 2 and 10 m. There is a nice sandy beach in the bay but there are no other services provided.

CAUTION

On the seabed there are some ropes and chains used by locals to tie their boats. When anchoring find a suitable place not to catch one of the ropes with your anchor.
