Luka Korčula

Anchorage Luka is located only half a nautical mile east of the town of Korčula and the Korčula marina. The anchorage is protected from all winds except the north. When sailing into the bay, we must pay attention to a small island in the eastern part of the bay. South of the islet, the depth of the sea is below 4 m, while on the northwestern side the depths are between 4 and 15 m, and on the northeastern side from 10 to 2 m. Local vessels are anchored in the vicinity of the island. Moorings are permanet. Vessels do not have signal lights on at night. We have to be especially careful when entering at night. Bottom is overgrown with grass, so we have to be careful when anchoring and check if the anchor has taken hold. The shore of the bay is intended for the mooring of boats of locals and guests of the camp, which is located around the bay. You can walk to the town of Korčula along the path that leads from the bay.
