Galboka

Port or anchorage Glaboka is on east side of island Cres. Bay is well protected against north and west winds. Strong bura (NE wind) and jugu (SE wind) bring waves in the bay. There is a small wave breaker in the bay. Water depth behind are between 0,2 and 1m. Docking is possible only with small boats. Seabed is sandy in the middle. In this part anchor holds well. To the shore seabed is rocky and covered only with thin layer of sand. In this part anchor does not hold well.
