Opatija

The port of Opatija is on the northwestern side of Kvarner. It is open to public transport. All moorings behind the harbor breakwater are communal moorings. It is possible to dock  sideways at the pier head or on the outer, eastern side of the breakwater, where there is no protection from waves. Depths in the port are between 2 and 6 m, but on the outside of the breakwater they quickly increase to 10 m. There is a petrol station in the southern part of the port, and there are many pubs and bars nearby.
