The port of Rabac is on the eastern side of the Istrian peninsula. It is well protected from all winds, except from the south. A strong bura (NE wind) in Kvarner causes swell. The vessel can dock sideways on the fortified shore on the eastern side or tie up to one of the moorings in the westrn part of the harbor. Moorings are equipped with electrical connections and water. Garbage collection is organized. Mooring must be paid for. In the western part of the harbor, it is possible to tie the vessel to one of the floats or to anchor at depths between 5 and 15 m. The bottom is sandy and in parts overgrown with sea grass. In the vicinity of the port, the city of Rabac has a wide range to offer. Nearby there are restaurants, bars, a supermarket and more. The nearest gas station is in the Cres marina, which is 12 nmi by boat.
