Rivanj

Rivanj Port is on the western side of the island of the same name. A new pier was built a few years ago, where regular lines connect the island to the mainland. The vessel can be moored sideways to the inner side of the concrete pier. There are bollards on the pier for mooring. The sea depth is between 5 m at the head of the pier and 1 m in the inner part of the pier. To the south is the old port. The vessel can be moored on the outer or inner side of the concrete pier. On the outer side, the sea depth is from 1.5 to 2 m, and on the inner side, from 0.5 to 2 m at the head of the pier. The port is protected only from easterly winds. The sea current in the Rivanj Channel is approximately 0.5 knots, but during strong south winds it can increase to 2 knots. The nearest gas station is in the town of Zadar, which is 9 nmi away.
