The port of Sučuraj is the easternmost port on the island of Hvar. It is a ferry port and connects the island to the mainland on the route Sučuraj - Drvenik. A new ferry terminal was built years ago. Therefore, there are several mooring places available inside the port. The vessel can land on two wooden piers, which are equipped with water and electricity, or laterally on the inner side of the breakwater and the old ferry terminal. The port is protected from northern and western winds. Strong jugo and bora winds cause waves in the port. The sea depths are between and 5m. The inner part of the port is intended for municipal mooring. The depths in this part are below 2m. The port has a berth for launching vessels, a self-service shop (two are open in the summer), several restaurants, a bakery and a bar. The nearest gas station is in the port of Makarska, which is 11 nmi away.
