Banja is a small bay on the east side of island Cres. Bay is well protected against north and west winds. In case of strong bura (NE wind) there are large waves and anchoring is not safe. Seabed in sandy in the middle of the bay and rocky to the shore. In sandy part anchor holds well. In case of strong bura (NE wind) it is safer to anchor in bay Kruscica 1 nmi to the north.
