Banja

Banja Bay is located on the northwestern side of the island of Cres. It is well-protected only from easterly winds and partially from southerly winds. There is a pier in the bay where two vessels can moor alongside; three mooring bollards are available. Anchoring is also possible, with depths ranging from 3 to 15 meters. Vessels can secure their sterns to two mooring bollards—one in the northern part of the bay and the other in the eastern part. There are two small sandy beaches in the bay. No services are available. The nearest petrol station is in Opatija, a 10-nautical-mile voyage away. No concession has been granted for the bay; anchoring using one's own anchor is free of charge.
