Mala Milna Bay is on the south side of the island of Hvar, only 2 nm east of the port of Hvar. The bay is well protected from all winds except southerly directions. Although the water in the bay looks extremely shallow, because it is very clean, the sea depths are between 2 and 8m. When entering the bay, you must be careful of larger rocks that are below sea level in the northern and eastern parts of the bay. The bottom of the bay is sandy and rocky in parts. Floats can also be placed in the bay if a concession has been granted for the bay that year. There is a beautiful sandy beach in the western part. There are several taverns and a bakery in the neighboring bay and port of Milna. If a concession has not been granted for the bay, anchoring in the bay is free.
