Plitvine

The bay and anchorage of Plitvina is only one nmi away from Vela Luka in the west of the island of Korcula. The bay is well protected from all winds except westerly. With the boat you can dock sideways along the pier on the west side of the bay in front of the hotel or anchor in the northern and eastern part. Depths of the sea are between 2 and 15 m. The depth of the sea is growing rapidly. In the middle of the bay it reaches 16 m. The bottom is sandy, in parts overgrown with grass. The anchor holds well on sandy parts. The nearest inn, shop and gas station are in Vela Luka, which is only 1 nmi. You can go to the port with a tender.
