Rakalj

Rakalj Bay or Luka is located on the southeastern side of the Istrian peninsula. The bay is well protected from northern and western winds. The sea depths are between 2 and 20 m. The depth increases rapidly. The bottom of the bay is sandy and holds the anchor well. There is a bar in the bay during the summer. There are shipwrecks in the northern part. The nearest tavern is in Sveti Nikola. The nearest gas station is in the town of Cres, which is 11 nmi away. No concession has been granted for the bay. There is no charge for anchoring on your own anchor.
