Vela Lučica

The bay and anchorage of Vela Lučica is located on the northern side of the island of Brač, a little less than one nautical mile west of the town and port of Splitska and 2 nautical miles east of the ferry port of Supetar. The bay is well protected from southerly winds, the others cause waves. Anchoring is possible at depths between 2 and 5m. The bottom is sandy and anchors hold well. There is no services provided in the bay. There is a road connecting Supetar with the northeastern part of the island and a small sandy beach along the bay. The nearest shops and taverns are in the town of Splitska, and the gas station is in the port of Milna on the island of Brač or in the city port of Split.
