Žitna

Žitna Bay is on the south side of the island of Korčula, next to the port of Zavalatica. The bay is very well protected from all winds except the south. In northern part, it is also partially protected from the south. The bottom of the bay is sandy and in places overgrown with grass. We can anchor at depths between 2 and 7 m. The anchor holds well. There is a sandy beach in the bay. There is no service. The nearest inn is in the port of Zavalatica, which is reached by a footpath (400 m walk). The nearest gas station is in the town of Ubli on the island of Lastovo, which is 14 nautical miles away, in the port of Korčula, which is 17 nautical miles away, or in Vela Luka on the eastern side of the island of Korčula, which is 18 nautical miles away.
