The cardinal mark EAST is placed on the northeastern side of the Fučin chert in the Pohlib channel. Čer Fućin is 700 m east of the island of Olib. It extends in a northwest-southeast direction over a length of 200 m. It rises only a few centimeters above the waterline. When the water level is high, it is completely below the waterline. The shoal is marked with two cardinal marks EAST. The second one is placed on the southern edge of the shoal. We have to sail around both marks on the east side. Sailing is also possible between shoal and the island of Olib. In the middle of the passage, the depth of the sea is over 8 m. The mark emites the light. The characteristic of the light is: W Q(3) 10s 3M.
