About
Žinčena Bay is on the southwestern side of the island of Pašman. The bay is very well protected from all winds except the south. In the northwestern and northern parts, the depths are between 1 and 5 m. The bottom is sandy and holds the anchor well. In the western part of the bay, the coast is rocky. A little further from the shore, the rocks are covered with a thin layer of sand, so the anchor can slide on the rock. Therefore, it is necessary to anchor at depths of more than 5 m, where the side of the sand is thick enough to hold the anchor reliably. There is no supply in the bay. The inn is in the neighboring bay of Lanđin. With an auxiliary vessel, we can land at one of the piers on the western side of the bay and walk along the footpath to the inn, which is only 500 m away.
The nearest gas station is in the town of Biograd, which is 8 nautical miles away. Since no concession has been granted for the bay, we can anchor at our own anchor and no overnight stay payment is required.
