About
The port of Drače is on the northeastern side of the Pelješac peninsula. It is protected from the western and northern winds. The bora and strong sirocco cause waves. Smaller vessels can be moored in the port, as the maximum water depth is only 3 meters. The vessel can be moored at the southeastern and northeastern breakwaters. When sailing into the port, we must pay attention to the rocks and shallows located east of Cape Rat and around the islet of Goljak. The Bililo shallows are marked with a black and yellow buoy. When sailing to the port, we must not sail in the red corridor of the lighthouse, which is located at the head of the northeastern breakwater. The port has a slipway for launching vessels, a restaurant and a bar. The nearest gas station is in Ploče, which is 9 nmi away.

Letos sem se 14 dni vezal v luki Drače,za katero lahko rečem,da je dokaj prijetna,edina težava so gostje iz Metkoviča,to je za vikend (sobota,nedelja),kateri si iz plovila radi kaj izposodijo.V luki se je bolje vezat na severovzhodni valobran,kateri plovila ob slabem vremenu bolje zaščiti,kakor jugovzhodni.Na jugovzhodnem delu pomola ob močnem vetru plovila ne priporočam vezat,zlasti ne začetnikom,kajlahko se zgodi,da boste imeli barko poškodovano,letos sem plovilo Čehov že reševal trkov ob pomol.
