About

The Vučine Bay is south of the town of Žuljana on the Pelješac peninsula. It is well protected from southern and eastern winds. When sailing into the bay, we must pay attention to the shallows and the two islets of Mirište and Kosmač. If we enter the bay from the north between the mainland and the island of Mirište, the depths are up to 8m. Between the islands of Mirište and Kosmač, the depth in the middle is 5m. The depth of the sea around the cardinal mark NORTH is 3m. The bottom in the bay is sandy and mostly overgrown with marine vegetation. In the northeastern part, the depths are between 2 and 15m, and in the southern part up to 30m. The anchor holds well in the sandy part. There is a campsite in the immediate vicinity of the bay. The nearest restaurant and shop are in Žuljana. The nearest gas station is in the port of Korčula, which is 10 nmi away.

There is no concession granted for the bay. There is no charge for anchoring your own boat.
