Novalja

The port of Novalja is on the western side of the island of Pag. It is well protected from all winds, except from the north. Docking is possible at the northern breakwater and the pontoon pier in the northern part of the harbor. Moorings are available. It is also possible to moor laterally to the western pontoon and to the fortified shore in the eastern part of the harbor. In the event of a storm forecast, we do not recommend mooring on the coast and the western pontoon. If all moorings are occupied, we can anchor in the southern part of the bay at depths between 2 and 4 m. The bottom is sandy and holds the anchor well. Electricity and water are available in the port. There are many inns, bars and shops in Novalja. The nearest supermarket is less than 100 m away.

CAUTION IN NAVIGATION

Landing sideways on the fortified shore on the eastern side of the harbor, look out for the many ropes used by the locals to moor their vessels. In case of a storm, do not tie up sideways.
