Novalja

In the port of Novalja on the island of Pag, it is possible to anchor in the southern part of the port. There is a public beach in the western part of the bay. We must anchor at a suitable distance from the floats. The depths are between 2 and 6 m. The bottom is sandy and the anchor holds well. The bay is protected from all winds except northerly directions. In the event of a storm, we must leave the anchorage. Tramontana causes high waves.

In Novalja there are many inns, grocery stores, bars, a post office, a bank, ATMs and a gas station. Due to the depth of only a good meter, it is only suitable for vessels with a draft of less than 1 m.
