About
Luka Povlja is on the northeastern part of the island of Brač. It is well protected from south and east winds. Bura (NE wind) and a mistral (NW wind) cause waves. Depths in the harbor are between 2 and 10 m. The vessel can be landed sideways on the pier. There is enough space for 4-5 vessels depending on the length. Electricity and water are available at the pier. Side mooring along the coast is possible but not recommended. Locals have installed buoys and ropes to moor their vessels. The ropes are twisted. Some lie on the seabed, some are just below the surface.
In the harbor there are several restaurants, bars, a self-service shop and other local offers. The nearest gas station is in Makarska, which is 9 nmi by boat.
