Tičja

Tičja Bay is on the northeastern side of the island of Brač in an abandoned quarry. It is only 0.5 nmi from the port of Povlja. The bay is well protected from all winds except the north. We can anchor at depths between 2 and 10 m. The bottom is sandy and holds the anchor well. In the southernmost part of the bay there is a channel leading to a small harbor. The depth of the sea in the channel is less than 1m, so we can only enter with an auxiliary vessel. There is no supply in the bay. The nearest inn and shop are in the port of Povlje. The nearest gas station is in the port of Sumartin in the southwest of the island of Brač, which is 7 nmi away. The second closest gas station is in Makarska, which is 9 nmi away.
