Vela Duboka

The port of Vela Duboka is located in the eastern part of the Stari Grad Bay, just before entering the port of Stari Grad. It is well protected from all winds except those from westerly directions. Vessels can moor alongside on either the inner or outer side of the pier. Depths range between 2 and 3 meters. Scheduled ferry lines dock on the outer side of the pier, so mooring there is not possible during docking times. The port is equipped with electricity and water connections. In the western part, there is a small basin where depths are between 0.5 and 1 meter, suitable for docking with dinghies or tenders only. Anchoring within 300 meters of the port is prohibited.

Next to the port is a bar, while the nearest restaurant is in the neighboring bay towards the town of Hvar. The nearest gas station is in the port of Bol on the island of Brač, which is 13 nautical miles away.
