About
Bay Kosirača is on north side of isalnd Ist. It is well protected only against south winds. Maestral (NW), Tramontana (N) and Bura (NE) winds causes high waves. In case of strong Bura or possibility of a storm you should leave the bay and anchor in Široka bay. Water depths are between 2 and 5 m. Seabed is sandy and in parts covered with sea grass. Anchor holds well. Docking is possible sideways on the dock in the northwest side of the bay.
