Podlokvina

The bay of Podlokvina is on the north side of the island of Rab, in front of the port of Lopar. It is well protected from all winds, except from the north. We can anchor at depths between 2 and 10 m. The bottom is sandy in the middle of the bay, but rocky towards the coast. The anchor holds well in the sandy part. The bay is safe for day swimming and overnight stays. There is no need to pay for an overnight stay. In the event of a forecast of a storm or a stronger gale, it is necessary to leave the bay and anchor in a bay that is protected from northerly winds.
