Sveti Nikola Bay is on the northwestern side of the island of Rab, in front of the entrance to the port of Lopar. We can anchor at depths between 2 and 10 m. The bottom is sandy and holds the anchor well. The sea depth of at least 3 m is very deep in the bay, so we can anchor close to the shore. As the bay is extremely narrow, we recommend mooring the stern of the vessel on the shore with at least one rope. The bay is well protected from all winds except from the north. In the event of a forecast of a storm or a bora (NE wind), we must leave the bay in time and seek protection from the bora and tramontana (N wind). There is no supply in the bay. The nearest shop and inn are in Lopar. The nearest gas station is in the town of Rab. It is 11 nmi away.
