About
Runca Bay is the most northwestern bay in the port of Lovište on the Pelješac peninsula. The bay is well protected from all winds except the south. Since the surrounding coast is relatively low, the wind in the bay can blow strongly but does not cause waves. The depths in the bay are between 2 and 10 m. The bottom is sandy, but rocky towards the shore. You can anchor with your own anchor. You have to lower the anchor towards the middle of the bay, where the water is deep enough to hold the anchor well. In the summer months, the northern part of the bay is fenced off because of bathers who swim on the Bili beach. There is no concession for the bay. Anchoring with your own anchor is free of charge.
The nearest tavern is in the western bay of Mirce and in the port of Lovište. The nearest gas station is in the port of Korčula, which is 8 nmi away.
