Šip

The Šip anchorage is between the islands of Maun, in the south, and the island of Šip, in the north. Bottom is sandy and the anchor holds well. When entering the bay, we must pay attention to the depth of the water, which quickly decreases towards the shore. A rock is southwest of the small pier. The water depth at the pier is less than 1 meter. The anchorage is well protected from easterly winds and partly from northern ones. The anchorage is suitable for day visit and overnight stays. If bad weather or a storm is forecast, the anchorage must be left in time, as it does not offer good protection in the event of a storm.
