About
The Stari Trogir bay is one of the first bays in the Split parish. The bay is well protected from north and east winds, and partly from south winds. The west winds cause waves. It is protected from south-east winds by the island of Merara and Arkandel in the south, but it is not protected from south-west winds. Anchoring in the bay can be done at depths between 2 and 10m. The bottom is sandy and the anchor holds well. When sailing into the bay from the south-west, we must pay attention to the islets of Mala Muljica and Vela Muljica, on which there is a lighthouse (B Bl 3s 15m 5M). The depth of the sea between the islet of Merara and the mainland is 6m. There is no offer in the bay. The nearest inn is in Sevid, 0.5 nmi to the west. The nearest gas station is in Rogoznica, 6 nmi away. However, the bay has not been granted a concession. Anchoring and spending the night on your own anchor is free of charge.
