Tankaraca

Anchorage Tankaraca is located in the northwestern part of the island of Korcula. The bay is well protected from the south winds, and in the extreme south-western part also from the west. The bottom of the bay is sandy and overgrown with marine vegetation, and rocky towards the coast. We can anchor at depths between 2 and 10 m. The bay is not protected from bora (NE wind) or tramontana (N wind). In the event of a storm, we must leave it in time and find an anchorage in one of the bays in the port of Vela Luka. In the southwestern part of the bay is a beautiful sandy beach. There is no supply in the bay.
