Tijaščica

Anchorage Tijaščica is the largest bay on the island of Tijat. The bay is very deep. It is protected from all winds except the south. The south wind causes high waves, so anchoring is not recommended in the case of a stronger south wind. The depths in the bay range from 1m in the north to 25m in the south. The bottom of the bay is sandy, but in parts it is overgrown with marine vegetation. The anchor holds well in the sandy part. There are 20 buoys in the bay. A concession has been granted. You have to pay for mooring on a buoy and staying overnight. The concessionaire allows anchoring in the bay as long as you do not obstruct vessels moored to the buoys by anchoring. There is a tavern in the bay. The nearest shop is on the island of Prvić, and the nearest gas station is in Vodice, which is only 3 nmi away.
