Veli Žal

Veli Žal Harbour is located 2 nm west of the Rab town harbour. The small harbour has a pier to which two vessels can be moored sideways, and several more can also be moored to moorings that are moored to the shore. Most of the time, the moorings are occupied by local vessels or by vessels of tourists who live in nearby apartments. Anchoring is possible in front of the harbour or in Jelenovica Bay, northwest of the pier, which is protected from all winds except southerly ones.
The nearest inn is in the harbour of Gožinka, which is 0.2 nmi to the west, or on Cape Frkanj, which is 0.3 nmi to the east. The nearest shop and petrol station are in the harbour of Rab, which is 2 nmi away.
