Vela Komunčica

Vela Komunčica Bay is the first bay on the western side of the Sveta Fumija Bay next to the town of Rab. The bay is protected from all winds except the north. The sea depth is between 1 and 4 m. The bottom is sandy and holds the anchor well. There is a pier in the western part of the bay. The depth at the pier is only 1.3 m, and at low tide it is even less than 1 m. In the immediate vicinity, on the western side of the Frkanj peninsula, there are two restaurants, Žal Beach bar and restaurant and the Frkanj Beach restaurant opposite the bay. Both are accessible by foot. The nearest gas station is in the town of Rab, which is 0.5 nmi away.
