An updated model of Bering Yachts’ popular B65 boat launched at the company’s shipyard in Antalya, Türkiye
The three-launch-week ended successfully with the Bering 65, a 19.78-meter raised pilothouse yacht, set afloat. Following her predecessors in B80 and B121, this smallish yet mighty explorer continues the line of steel displacement vessels designed to be stable, safe, comfortable and long-range. Being hull number four in this size made by Bering, the current model has been significantly redesigned based on the feedback from the owners and captains of previous B65 yachts.
An improved B65 has a double-level flybridge with a boat deck and a crane on the lower level. A grill, a comfortable lounge area and a helm station, which allows for better control for an owner-operator during cruise, are located at the upper level. The impressive viewing angle for pleasant and confident cruising is provided from the pilothouse set at the main deck along with a spacious galley. A 16-square-meter main saloon with panoramic windows and an entertainment center is adjacent to the cockpit, which seamlessly connects to a swim platform on the lower deck accessible through either of the outboard stairwells.
The lower deck also has one master stateroom, 2 guest cabins and a crew mess to comfortably accommodate 6 guests and 2 crew members. A sizable storage area is located next to an engine room housing twin diesel engines and other machinery. The insulation surrounding the engine room provides perfect cancellation of noises and vibration. Homely and modern interior arrangement with bright colors, intelligent and thoughtful design touches, and an ergonomic approach to the furniture composition and layout provide both functionality and comfort.
“This B65 proves that we are a company that does not stop advancing, redesigning, making things better, even if they look good, perfect,” said Bering Yachts founder Alexei Mikhailov. “We have rethought the whole boat, installed the state-of-the-art equipment, and there will be no stopping here. The more we learn from the owners and the captains, the better we make our models. This is growth, this is improvement the Bering way.”
An ocean-crossing explorer, Bering 65 is rugged and powerful. Her displacement is 102 metric tons. Sizable gas tanks allow her to carry 16,800 liters of fuel, allowing her to travel continuously for over 4,000 miles at 8 knots of cruise speed.
The extensive sea trials will continue throughout the Summer to ensure the functionality of all systems and prepare the boats for handover to the owners. Stay tuned for updates on our three newest boats.
