Vrbovica

Vrbovica is a bay on the north side of the island of Korčula. It is only 2 nmi west of the port of Korčula. The bay is well protected from all winds except bura (NE wind). We can anchor at depths between 2 and 10 m. Bottom is sandy  partially covered with sea grass and silt. The anchor holds well. There is no supply in the bay.

CAUTION

Northeast of the bay is the Vrbovica shallow, which is marked with the lateral mark LEFT. The sea depths around the mark are between 2 and 5 m. The depth between the mark and the eastern shore of the bay is 10 m, and between the mark and the western shore of the bay is 20 m. When sailing into the bay, we must leave the mark on our left. If we sail from the east, we can sail in the middle of the channel between the mark and the land, where the depth is 10 m.
